Morning is the coolest and calmest time in the desert. Your driver collects you from your hotel before dawn and takes you to the dunes in time to watch the sun come up.
Choose the safari that suits you. Options include a smooth dune drive to Al Qudra Lake with a picnic breakfast and a falcon show, classic dune bashing with sandboarding and a camel farm visit, a ride in a Land Rover with breakfast, a quad bike session, or a private safari with a photoshoot.
Most options last about four hours with transfers, so you are back at your hotel by late morning. On a hazy day the sunrise may not be clear.
