Casa Milà - La Pedrera: Entry Ticket + Audio Guide

Antoni Gaudí designed Casa Milà as a home for wealthy families, and locals call it La Pedrera, "the stone quarry", because of its rough, curving façade. There is hardly a straight wall in the building. Light enters from two large inner courtyards and reaches every floor.

Your ticket gives you entry and an audio guide. You see the Butterfly Courtyard with its painted walls, a period apartment that shows how a Barcelona family lived in 1911, and the attic under 270 brick arches, where an exhibition tells the story of Gaudí's life and work. The visit ends on the rooftop, with chimneys and stairwells covered in broken-tile mosaic and views across the city.

Look up as you walk through the Flower Courtyard. The curved staircase and the floral murals once welcomed the owners of the house.
