Barcelona Zoo is inside Parc de la Ciutadella. It is home to about 2,000 animals from more than 300 species.
See Komodo dragons, the largest lizards in the world, and parrots and tropical birds in the aviary. In the farmyard, children can meet pigs, ponies and a rare Catalan donkey. Along the way, you learn how the animals live and how the zoo helps to protect them.
Your ticket includes skip-the-line entry, picnic areas and a playground for children. The zoo app in English, Spanish or Catalan gives you a map, facts about the animals and games.

Important to know before booking:
• Kids under 3 get in free, no ticket required
• Reduced tickets for seniors and disabled visitors are available on-site with free entrance for their carers
• No pets, except guide dogs with valid documentation
• No skates, bikes or scooters
• Access the zoo via Parc de la Ciutadella. The zoo access is next to the Equestrian statue to General Joan Prim. The secondary access on Carrer de Wellington is temporarily closed
• Skip the box office line and head straight to the turnstiles to enter
