Montserrat is a mountain of strange rock shapes about one hour from Barcelona. People came here as pilgrims for more than a thousand years. Today, the Montserrat Cable Car takes you from the valley to the Benedictine monastery of Santa Maria de Montserrat in about 5 minutes.
Your ticket includes the ride up and the ride down, and free WiFi. Cars leave about every 15 minutes. At the top, you can visit the monastery and see the famous Virgin of Montserrat statue.
Follow the yellow "Web Ticket" signs at the station and show your ticket for direct access. Dogs can ride on a lead and with a muzzle. The cable car can stop in bad weather.
