The Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC) sits in the Palau Nacional on Montjuïc hill. It holds the world's best collection of Romanesque mural paintings, which came from small churches in the Pyrenees.
The museum also shows Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque art, with works by Titian and Velázquez, and modern art by Ramon Casas and pieces by Gaudí. Your ticket includes the rooftop viewpoint, most temporary exhibitions and a free app with images and an audio tour.
Show your ticket at the small desk to the right of the entrance. You do not go to the box office.

• The museum is free from 15:00 onward on Saturdays and on every first Sunday of the month
• The rooftop can be temporarily closed for weather/security reasons (refunds are not possible in this case)
• Skip the box office and get your smartphone ticket scanned at the small desk on the right of the entrance.
