Muay Thai is Thailand's national sport. Fighters use punches, kicks, elbows and knees, which makes it different from Western boxing. Before each fight, the boxers perform the Wai Khru Ram Muay, a traditional ritual dance.
Patong Boxing Stadium is on Sainamyen Road in Patong. Your ticket includes a seat and a souvenir T-shirt, and you can take a photo with a boxer. Plan about 2.5 hours.
