The Como Silk Museum is dedicated to the history and textile traditions that have made the city famous throughout the world.
An exhibition spanning approximately 1,200 square meters takes you through the stages of silk production, from processing the raw material to creating the fabrics. In the galleries, you’ll find machinery, tools, and artifacts illustrating the evolution of Como’s textile industry and the work of generations of artisans.
Admission is included and covers any temporary exhibitions. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Tuesdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; it is closed on Mondays. The ticket is valid for the reserved date and time of entry.

Please go to the ticket office at the Silk Museum, Via Castelnuovo 9, 22100 Como, at the reserved time, with your Artista Tours confirmation on your phone or printed out, in the name of the person who made the reservation. Museum hours: Tuesday 2:00 PM–6:00 PM; Wednesday through Sunday 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.; closed Mondays. Tickets sold by Rocca d’Italia, an independent reseller.
