The Nobel Peace Center stands on Brynjulf Bulls plass by the Aker Brygge waterfront, right next to Oslo City Hall, where the Peace Prize is awarded each December.
Interactive exhibitions tell the story of Alfred Nobel and of the men, women and organisations that won the prize. In the Nobel Field, each laureate has a small glowing screen of their own among a thousand small lights. The Nobel Chamber gives you the chance to see a Nobel Peace Prize medal up close.
The centre also shows strong documentary photography and changing exhibitions on peace, human rights and conflict. Your ticket covers all exhibitions. Guided tours run in Norwegian and English, and an audio guide is available in several languages.
