The cruise starts at Rådhusbrygge 4, the pier in front of Oslo City Hall, where the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded. The boat runs on electric power, so it glides almost silently.
First you head east past the white Oslo Opera House and the tall Munch Museum. Then you sail out between the fjord islands with their colourful wooden houses, along the Nesodden shore with its cottages and bathhouses, and past Dyna Lighthouse. Your guide tells you the stories of each place in English.
The boat stops at Bygdøy, the museum peninsula. You can get off there to visit the museums, or stay on board back to City Hall. Water and free WiFi are included.
