Leaning Tower of Pisa
For reference only. Itineraries are subject to change.
The Leaning Tower is the bell tower of Pisa Cathedral. It began to lean during construction in the 12th century and still stands at a famous angle. Its winding stairs take you to the top, with views over the city, the cathedral and the Tuscan hills.
Your ticket gives a timed fast-track entry to the Leaning Tower, entry to the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and an audio guide. Plan about one hour.
First go to the Sinopie Museum ticket office, at least 20 minutes early, to collect your tickets. Children under 8 cannot climb the tower, and the climb is not suitable for people with mobility or heart problems. Under-18s must be with an adult.
