Ca' Rezzonico was designed by Baldassare Longhena, the great architect of Baroque Venice. The Rezzonico family later bought it, and one of them became Pope Clement XIII.
Today it is the museum of 18th-century Venice. See the frescoed ballroom, ceilings by Tiepolo, tapestries, furniture and paintings that show the rich life of the city in the last years of the Republic.
