Piacenza: Guided Tour of Rivalta Castle

Discover one of the most fascinating historic castles in the province of Piacenza with Argentum’s guided tour of Rivalta Castle, located in the medieval village of Rivalta along the Trebbia Valley.

In about 80 minutes, a guide will take you through the castle’s historic rooms and recount the history of the Zanardi Landi Counts. The tour begins outside and in the inner courtyard, then moves on to the Hall of Honor, the dining room, the old kitchens, the cellars, and the dungeons. The tour continues through the bedrooms, the museum area, and the gallery of historic salons, featuring period furnishings, works of art, the “Vedute Ottiche” exhibition, and the billiard room. The tour also includes access to the tower.

Tour times:

- Monday through Friday: 11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

- Saturday: 10:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:20 p.m., and 4:40 p.m.

- Sunday: 10:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:20 p.m., and 4:40 p.m.

The price per person decreases as the number of participants increases.
