Spend a day of wellness at the Monticelli Thermal Baths, just a few kilometers from Parma, in a large spa complex surrounded by greenery. Entry is through the Hotel delle Rose Terme & Wellness Spa, which provides access to the “Percorso Acqua” areas.
The day pass is valid from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. You can use the thermal pools and wellness areas open on your chosen day, featuring salsobromoiodic water at temperatures ranging from approximately 30 to 34 °C.
The main areas: Matisse Area (approximately 32 °C, with submerged seating and chaise longues), Piscina delle Rose (approximately 30 °C, whirlpools, and hydrobikes), and Piscine Parco, two pools at approximately 32 and 34 °C with whirlpools, geysers, waterfalls, hydrobikes, and swimming areas.
Area hours: Matisse Area daily 10 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday: Rose Pool, sauna, and Turkish bath 10 a.m.–7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday: Rose Pool, sauna, and Turkish bath 10 a.m.–3 p.m. and Park Pools 3 p.m.–7 p.m. On Friday, the Rose Pool and heat area are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the Park Pools are open from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. On Saturday, the Park Pools are open from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Facilities include a sauna, Turkish bath, aromatherapy tepidarium, and showers at various temperatures. There is also a Technogym fitness center and, in the summer, panoramic sun decks.
Swim caps are required in the pools. Bring a swimsuit, bathrobe or towel, and a lock for the lockers. Children up to 14 years of age may enter the Rose and Parco pools only when accompanied by an adult and are not permitted in the Matisse Area, saunas, or Turkish baths. Food and beverages are not included.
