The Musée de l'Orangerie stands in the Tuileries Garden, next to Place de la Concorde. Its two oval rooms were built for Claude Monet's eight great Water Lilies panels, which wrap around you in natural light.
Downstairs, the Walter-Guillaume collection shows works by Renoir, Cézanne, Matisse, Picasso and Modigliani. Your ticket includes the permanent collection and the temporary exhibitions. Choose a standard ticket or the evening ticket on Fridays.
