Full description
The Guinigi Tower is one of Lucca’s landmarks, famous for its rooftop garden with centuries-old holm oaks at the top. You enter at your scheduled time, in the heart of the historic center, and climb up the medieval structure to the panoramic terrace.
From the top, the view sweeps over the rooftops of the historic center, the towers and bell towers, the Renaissance walls, and the Tuscan landscape: one of the best spots to photograph the city. The tour ends at the same entrance.
Admission is every half hour from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., daily. The climb consists of approximately 230 steps, and there is no elevator: this tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. Please bring a form of identification, even for children. Children up to 2 years old are admitted free; children ages 3–12 receive a reduced rate.
Tickets are sold by Rocca d’Italia, an independent retailer.

Please arrive at the entrance to the Guinigi Tower, Via Sant'Andrea 41, in the historic center of Lucca, a few minutes before your scheduled time, with your Artista Tours confirmation on your phone or as a printed copy, in the name of the person who made the reservation. Bring a form of identification, even for children. Approximately 230 steps; no elevator; wear comfortable shoes. Tickets are sold by Rocca d’Italia, an independent reseller.
