The Sema is the spiritual ceremony of the Mevlevi order, founded by the followers of the poet Rumi. UNESCO lists it as part of the cultural heritage of humanity.
At Hodjapasha, a restored Ottoman bath house, the dervishes turn to music in a calm and moving ceremony of about one hour. An exhibition shows Rumi's poems, music and the story of the dervishes.
