Westminster Abbey has crowned English and British kings and queens since 1066. Many are buried here, along with writers, scientists and statesmen, in Poets' Corner and the royal chapels.
Walk through the abbey with a self-guided audio tour and see the Coronation Chair, the Lady Chapel and the tombs of Elizabeth I and Mary, Queen of Scots.
The abbey is a working church and can close at short notice. Dress respectfully. The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Galleries cost extra on site.
