Full description
St Mark's Basilica is the great church of Venice, built to hold the relics of St Mark. Its domes and walls are covered with golden mosaics, and behind the high altar stands the Pala d'Oro, a golden altarpiece set with precious stones.
You pick one of three tickets. The basic ticket covers the ground floor of the Basilica with a digital audio guide. The other two add the rooftop terrace over St Mark's Square and St Mark's Museum, and one of them also includes the Pala d'Oro. The visit lasts from about 30 minutes to one hour.
Exchange your voucher before entry, as the voucher explains, and do not arrive late. For the audio guide, bring a charged smartphone with internet access.
