In AD 79, Mount Vesuvius erupted and buried the Roman town of Pompeii under ash. On this day trip you see both: the volcano and the town it destroyed.
The trip includes skip-the-line tickets to Pompeii and to Vesuvius National Park, an audio guide for Pompeii in many languages, and roundtrip coach transport from Naples. A live guide and food are not included. If bad weather closes Vesuvius, you visit the ruins of Herculaneum instead.
The coach leaves from near Via Galileo Ferraris 40 in Naples and has the Around Vesuvio logo. Bring a valid ID for the audio guide and for reduced tickets. Only small bags are allowed, and you cannot leave bags on the coach.
