Augmented reality glasses, designed with archaeologists, show you Pompeii as it looked before the eruption of AD 79. As you walk the ruins, the glasses rebuild the houses, temples and streets around you in 3D.
Your ticket includes timed entry to Pompeii, an audio guide, the AR glasses and a tour assistant who shows you how to use them. This is not a guided tour. Children under 8 can enter the site but cannot use the glasses. The Villa of the Mysteries is not included.
Meet the staff with the AR tour sign outside the Coffee Shop Vittoria in Piazza Esedra, 15 minutes before your time. The tour waits only five minutes for late arrivals.

Important to know before booking:
• Children under 8 can access the site, but they can't use the AR glasses.
• This is a walking tour, please wear comfortable shoes
• EU Citizens (18-24) and children (0-17) must show a valid ID or passport at the ticket office. Otherwise, they will be required to pay the full fare
• This is an augmented reality tour, which does not include a guide
• Meet the staff waiting outside the Coffee Shop Vittoria in Piazza Esedra, and look for an AR tour sign
• Show your smartphone voucher to the staff
• Arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time
• The tour will wait for latecomers for a maximum of 5 minutes. After that, the tour will start out of respect for the other participant
