The Conciergerie was part of the medieval royal palace on the Île de la Cité. During the French Revolution it became a prison, and Queen Marie Antoinette spent her last days here.
See the Salle des Gens d'Armes, the largest surviving medieval hall in Europe, and the reconstructed prison cells. The Histopad tablet, available until 16:30, shows the rooms as they once were.
Choose a date and time. You can enter up to 30 minutes after your slot, after a security check. Sainte-Chapelle is not included.

• Free for under-18s, EU residents under 26, teachers with a pass, disabled visitors and a carer, and French job seekers with ID
• Free on the first Sunday of the month from November to March
• Large bags and suitcases are not allowed, and there are no lockers
• Security checks are required for all visitors
• You can enter up to 30 minutes after your time slot
• Sainte-Chapelle is not included
