The Passetto di Borgo is a raised passage built into the walls between the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo. Popes used it to escape in times of danger. It opens to visitors only on certain dates.
Your ticket gives skip-the-line entry to the Passetto and to Castel Sant'Angelo, which began as Hadrian's tomb and later became a fortress and papal home. Staff help you during the Passetto visit, but this is not a guided tour.
Meet the Touristation staff in front of the Castel Sant'Angelo entrance. They hold an orange umbrella and wear red T-shirts.
