The Capitoline Museums stand on the Capitoline Hill, in buildings around the square that Michelangelo designed. The collection began in 1471, which makes it one of the oldest public museums in the world.
See the bronze she-wolf, the symbol of Rome, the giant head of Emperor Constantine and the bronze statue of Marcus Aurelius. From the gallery under the hill you look out over the Roman Forum.
Your ticket includes the temporary exhibition. Children aged 0-5 enter free with a free ticket from the box office.
