CADIZ: THREE MILLENNIES OLD

An exclusive catamaran cruise through the coastal waters surrounding the 3,000-year-old city of Cádiz, sailing past the city walls or gliding peacefully across its bay. Interestingly, the most favorable conditions for the “Route of the City Walls” are when a Levante wind is blowing. These tours will take place on our exclusive catamaran, the “Pura Vida,” which, thanks to its large size and design, makes for a much more pleasant sailing experience than on a traditional boat. Relax aboard our “Pura Vida” catamaran, considered the most modern and exclusive motor-and-sail tourist catamaran in Spain. Whenever possible, we’ll sail to experience an authentic and enjoyable voyage. We’ll set sail and, depending on sea and wind conditions, head north or south. For both routes, departures will be from the commercial port of Cádiz.

We’ll always try to sail toward the northern part of the bay so you can admire iconic landmarks from our catamaran, such as the city’s watchtowers, the San Carlos City Walls, San Felipe Alto, the Church of El Carmen, the Candelaria Bastion, San Sebastián Castle, Santa Catalina Castle, and La Caleta Beach.

If sailing conditions are not favorable, we will head to the southern part of the bay, passing by the San Antonio Bastion, Matagorda Fort, and the shipbuilding and ship repair yards. We’ll pass under the 1812 Constitution Bridge, colloquially known as “La Pepa.” Its spectacular design has made it the new emblem of Cádiz Bay.

Our tours take place on the Atlantic Ocean, so we recommend bringing some warm clothing, such as a sweatshirt, jacket, or cardigan.
