After the fall of communism in 1989, Budapest removed its statues of Lenin, Marx, Engels and Hungarian communist leaders. Many of them now stand together at Memento Park, on the edge of the city.
Walk among these huge monuments and see Stalin's boots, all that was left of a giant statue pulled down in 1956. The park shows how the regime used art and propaganda.
