For reference only. Itineraries are subject to change.
The Tino Sana Carpenter’s Museum, located in Almenno San Bartolomeo just a few kilometers from Bergamo, tells the story of Italian craftsmanship across three floors and 3,500 m²: reconstructions of workshops, original tools, machinery, and lathes from the 17th, the 18th, and the 19th centuries.
Discover how carpenters and artisans worked, the ancient itinerant trades, traditional dwellings, and the working of wood and iron. One section is dedicated to modes of transportation, from sleds to carriages, from 19th-century wooden bicycles to automobiles and airplanes, with an area dedicated to cyclist Felice Gimondi. Outside, there is a historic water-powered sawmill.
A self-guided tour takes about an hour and a half. Admission times: Monday through Friday at 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.; Saturday at 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.; Sunday at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 3:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. The museum is accessible and has ample parking.
