The Van Gogh Museum on Museumplein holds the largest collection of works by Vincent van Gogh, from his early dark paintings of Dutch farm life to the bright colours of his years in France. Works by artists of his time hang beside them and show how his style grew.
Your ticket gives entry to the permanent collection and the temporary exhibitions. Tickets are sold for a time slot, and timed tickets are the only way in.
Go straight to the entrance with your ticket. You can enter up to 30 minutes after your time slot. Large bags, suitcases, prams and folding bikes are not allowed, but there is a cloakroom.
