Muiderslot is a medieval moated castle at the mouth of the river Vecht in Muiden, about 20 minutes from Amsterdam. Built around 1285, it is one of the best-preserved castles in the Netherlands.
Walk through the 17th-century rooms of the poet P.C. Hooft, climb the towers and the ramparts, and visit the gardens. Your ticket includes entry with an audio guide.
