ARTIS-Micropia is the only museum in the world that is all about microbes. It stands on Artisplein, next to ARTIS Zoo.
Look through microscopes at live microbes and learn how they live in the air, on your skin and in your stomach, and how they help make food and keep us healthy. In the Water Lab, three aquariums hold water from a farm ditch, the sea and Amsterdam's canals.
